Each December, Esperanza de Tejas hosts Christmas of Hope, our largest annual community celebration dedicated to ensuring families feel supported, remembered, and surrounded by love during the holiday season. What began as a small gathering has grown into a powerful tradition that brings warmth, essentials, and joy to hundreds of children, teens, and families across South Texas. Christmas of Hope provides coats, sweaters, blankets, warm meals, hygiene items, diapers, toys, books, and special holiday experiences at absolutely no cost. Families also enjoy pictures with Santa, hands-on learning activities, a hot cocoa and cookie station, and moments of connection that make the season brighter.
