Meet The Team

Founder & Chief Executive Officer- Brianna Davis

Brianna Davis is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Esperanza de Tejas, Inc. A Coastal Bend native, Brianna obtained her GED at the age of 18 and went on to pursue her Bachelors degree in Social Science from the University of Houston-Downtown and a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC). With over 13 years of experience in the social services field and a proud member of the Junior League of Corpus Christi, Leadership Corpus Christi Class 53, TABPHE-Corpus Christi and Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority. Brianna has dedicated her career to creating positive community outcomes, health changes and educational opportunities to low-income and underrepresented communities throughout Texas.

Chief Community Officer- Belinda Perez Perea

 

 

Belinda Perez Perea serves as the Chief Community Officer for Esperanza de Tejas, bringing more than 30 years of experience in education, advocacy, community engagement, and social services. A lifelong champion for children and families, Belinda has dedicated her career to creating opportunities, breaking down barriers, and ensuring underserved communities have access to the resources they need to thrive.

She graduated from Corpus Christi University, now Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, in 1988 with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree, emphasizing Spanish and minoring in Mexican Studies. Throughout her distinguished career, she has served as an educator, Director of Children and Family Services for a nonprofit organization, and a passionate advocate for migrant children, families, and educational equity.

As Chief Community Officer, Belinda leads Esperanza de Tejas' community engagement, outreach, partnership development, and volunteer initiatives. She works closely with community leaders, nonprofit organizations, schools, healthcare providers, and stakeholders to strengthen relationships and expand access to services throughout South Texas.

Known for her compassion, leadership, and unwavering commitment to service, Belinda continues to build bridges between communities and resources, ensuring that families are connected to the support systems they need to achieve long-term success and stability.

Taryn DeLaRosa- Marketing Director

 

Taryn De La Rosa, M.A.A., serves as the Marketing Director for Esperanza de Tejas, where she leads the organization's marketing, communications, branding, and community engagement efforts. With a strong background in Industrial & Organizational Psychology and organizational leadership, Taryn brings a strategic and people-centered approach to storytelling, outreach, and mission-driven marketing.

She holds a Master of Arts in Administration with a concentration in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from the University of the Incarnate Word and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Texas A&M University–Kingsville. Throughout her career, she has focused on strengthening organizational culture, developing high-performing teams, and helping organizations maximize their impact.

As the founder of Vision Toward Leadership LLC, Taryn has worked alongside nonprofits and businesses to provide leadership development, strategic planning, executive coaching, and organizational growth strategies. Her expertise in organizational behavior and communications allows her to connect people to purpose and translate mission into meaningful community impact.

At Esperanza de Tejas, Taryn is committed to elevating the organization's visibility, strengthening community partnerships, and sharing the stories that inspire hope and change across South Texas.
